I went to this amazing film today at the Garneau. It's been years (literally) since I'd been to that theater and I was reminded how much I love the atmosphere of the small one screen theater. The movie was Water. I beautiful film about the plight of widows in India. Just thinking about the movie brings tears to my eyes, and goosebumps to my arms. So seeing it has made me a bit of an emotional mess. But it's worth it. The shots used are simply stunning. The atmosphere of the film had invokes something within me. And I feel changed. I guess I'm saying that the Water struck a chord. So go see it. Please.
