I'm in Love!

Hey kids, I'm back!

Not that I've been really gone for a long time or anything. Unlike some people.... (not so subtle hint for others to update their blogs already.)

Anyway, life, she's been crazy of late. But things are looking to be settling down. At least on the school front. I've made myself a promise to not touch anything school related (other than attending classes) until Monday. Giving myself the next four days free! Sadly I need to work tonight and tomorrow night, but weekend look out! It'll be crazy.

Of course work is one of my favourite places right now, because we recently acquired one of the most beautiful set of books I've ever seen. There are a little over a hundred of them. They are leather bound, with little intricate designs in gold on the covers. They are classics of literature. There's some Hemingway, some Whitman, Alcott, Homer, Virgil, etc. Oh and they've never been opened. They are so amazing I want to cry. I go to work and pet them, and gaze at them, and time just disappears. It's love y'all.

AND the best part of all is that about 20 of them are signed. Anyone want some Arthur Miller plays, signed by the man himself? How about Tennessee Williams? The Second Sex signed by Simone De Bouvoir (my personal favourite)? Catch-22 signed by Joseph Heller? How about some Sartre? John Updike? Slaughterhouse Five with Kurt Vonnegut's autograph?

Do you understand the love? Do you!?

I can't wait to go. And if anyone wants to lend me $200 for the Simone de Bouvoir, I'd love them forever.
