Procrastination is an art form
So I'm sitting in a big room of computers here on campus, 'cause really why would I get started on the mountain of readings I have to do, if I can surf the net instead.
Today I discovered that not all sayings are complete bullshit. I got on a bike early today for the first time in 12 years. And not only did I only wobble for a second, but I had no problem whatsoever staying upright. So it's true. You really never do forget.
Also I need help. Can anyone tell me where I can find a pair of boots that are:
1) Warm enough to withstand Edmonton winters, so I can keep all my toes,
2) Have little to no heel, so I can walk great distances in them (ex. My house to school, which is approximately a 45 minute walk),
3) Not ugly.
I don't even care about the price anymore. I will take out a loan if necessary. I'm just getting worried, because my ratty old sneakers aren't going to cut it for too much longer and the weather is getting colder. We're bound to have snow soon.
Can anyone help me?
Anyone?
Sigh.
Sorry, Kiddo. I'm in the same boat with the boot thing. It doesn't help that every time I find a half-decent-looking pair, the store it's in is so busy that no one will let me try it on.
I hate shoe shopping.
