Fringe! Ack!
The last few weeks have been a blur. This entire summer has been pretty fast now that I think about it. I can't believe August is here, let alone almost over. In a few short weeks I'll be starting my last semester at the U, going back to being part time at the book store, and (hopefully) settled into my newest home. Crazy.
So Fringe is happening which means that work has been a little intense lately. So many weird people are on the Ave. The only thing that makes it bearable is the New Asian Village kiosk. Mmmmm....samosas.....I'm spending too much money there everyday, and I'm sure I'm putting on weight, but I really don't care. The food is way too good.
I'm also moving today which is exciting. I'm only half packed though, which is not as exciting. Packing is such a bore. I'm really hoping this will go smoothly. I'm giving away most of my furniture so the only real thing I have to worry about is my stuff. But as usual I'm discovering that I own a lot more than I thought I did (Where did all these damn books come from?!) Sigh.
Other highlights of the last few weeks have included frolicking around a Walmart for 2 hours with some lovely ladies, rocking out at the Starlight Room to Wolf Parade (and Frog Eyes, who I found to be less rocking), drinking Vodka slurpees on Jenn's Dad's couch, hitting up the Black Dog a few too many times, and planning my trip to Eastern Canada.
So in a few short hours I will be internet-less. So this may be it for now. Fortunately no one actually expects me to update anymore, so I doubt this slightly long absence will be noticed.
