BURNED!!!

I went to Jericho Beach yesterday with Amanda. And even though I applied my SPF 30 twice during the day, it didn't seem to take. Well it did, but apparently I missed some spots, because I have a few weird patches of burned skin on my legs and stomach, and about half my back is bright red.

Sigh.

I'll be sure to apply much more carefully today.

The folkfest was going on down there, so we checked out all the tents outside of the gates. There were lots of fun scarves and clothes and jewelry. There was this really cool earring thing I adored and am now somewhat regretting not buying. But I did get a pretty cool wrap skirt, for $5!

Overall I have to say I had a pretty awesome weekend. And I have a short work day today, so it's almost like the weekend is continuing. Since I will be heading back to the beach today.

Thank God summer has finally come.

Yeah, you know how obsessively careful I was with the sunscreen? Apparently I missed a few random patches too. Although I'm good otherwise.

i'm sorry to hear about your sunburn, i get them all the time, they can be quite painful. I heard a bunch of different things that will make it feel better; olive oil, yoghurt, vinaigre, aloe vera.. sounds more like a cook-off.. and don't use them all at the same time. that's trouble right there.
