Feeling Groovy
What a beautiful day!
First of all it's gorgeous outside. Sunny and warm. And because the weather was so lovely, I got off work early. The kid wanted to be outside, I wanted to be home, his Mom gave me some carrots and sent me on my way.
Secondly it was payday. I had the great joy of walking over to the bank after work today and putting in not one, not two, but three fair sized checks. Making me no longer poor, but slightly less poor. It is awesome.
Last night my lovely cousin came over and had dinner with me. She brought wine. It was wonderful. We caught up, gossiped about our boys and school and work, and basically everything that has happened in the last two or three years since we last spoke. I had a great time.
Tonight Sean has volunteered to feed me. So I'm heading over in a little while for free food and movies, and a nice long visit with the sweetest dog ever, Boomer.
Yeah, um, about Boomer: does Miah know about you two? I mean, you were getting pretty friendly...
Just kidding. He is very sweet and you make a lovely couple.

this is a late blog comment but will comment otherwise! i had a fantabulous time at mini golf too and again thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me sleep over your house. too bad breakfast didn't work out but dinner was great and that took care of it. it was fun chitchatting and getting to know more about you. and thanks for listening to my rant and rave. i still must go to the panakeoeke dedutch place so whenever your hankering for pancakes, let me know! i'll be more than happy to go with you!! joan
p.s. i hope you are catching up on your sleep and your mood is lifted up with this wonderful gorgeous weather we are having! hooray for you are "no longer poor, but slightly less poor" but have more than what you had before!! i finally found the fall jacket(s) i wanted. hahaha, jacket(s) plural - i saw 3 i liked!! well i have work this afternoon, but I hope to still make it for bowling. i hope you're going to! take care of yourself!!
