merely talk

Hello Internet,

Life has been a little crazy these last few weeks. School is happening, and work is happening, and I seem to be slightly unwilling to give up my drunken ways of the summer, so that's been happening too. I've made many appearances at local bars, so much so that a guy came up to me at Halo on Friday and said he recognized me from my two night stint at the black dog that week. My two bar worlds are colliding, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I mean if I act like a total idiot at the dog (which I do) I don't want that to impede my cool reputation at Halo! What's a girl to do? (and if you say stop drinking and going out so much, I say that's the wrong answer!)

But seriously, I will be stopping soon. I have my first midterm in a week and a half and I haven't done any of the readings for the class yet. Probably because I consider the class to be a bit of a joke, but still....

Let's see...In awesome news the bar where my wallet was taken called a few weeks ago. They found it! I guess whoever took it, just dumped it somewhere in the bar. It still even had some of the cards in it, but none of the money. Which I'm okay with. The bar people were supposed to send it to me, but I haven't gotten it yet, and they called two weeks ago. Which is making me a little worried. I'm also getting pretty sick of using my passport as id. Sigh. Perhaps it will come this week...

I've also become mildly obessesed with Grey's Anatomy. I finished watching the first season, and I've made my way through half of the second. I've realized that I just really love Sandra Oh, and I'll watch her in just about anything. Oh and I also think the guy who plays George is pretty cute.

I also went to the Danny Michel concert on Friday night before heading out to Halo. A friend's boyfriend's band opened, which was pretty sweet for them. We went to be supportive and I thought they put on a pretty good show. So readers, if you have a chance go check out Five o'Clock Charlie, for they are awesome...Danny Michel is also awesome.

That, dear internet, is all that is really happening with me, well all that I feel like sharing with the masses at least. If anyone wants to hear about the personal absurdities in my life they are welcome to contact me. Sometimes I don't know how the things that happen to me, actually happen, and why they happen to me.
