merely talk

rantings and ravings with little cohesion and plenty of pretension

Posting from the Edge

It's all going to calm down after today. Today is the fifth night in a row I'm working (I'm technically a part time worker, how is this happening?), I had to give a crappy presentation today and I wrote a midterm that I didn't have enough time to study for. But by midnight tonight I will have less work and school obligations. Which is nice. I've been a very cranky person the last few days. I just need to make it through work tonight and then I can relax a little.

Last night there we had most of my least favourite regulars. We had the cheapest man in the world, a few guys with some mental disorders, others with problems with hygiene. And then some just plain annoying peoplem, who like to powertrip and have never had to work in the sevice industry.

However we did have one man come in, who is pretty much the most attractive person I've ever seen in Edmonton, or Vancouver or really ever, in any city. So that was just lovely. I got butterflies just looking at him. It's been ages since I've had a such a simple, shallow attraction to a person. It felt great!

Is it May yet?
