I've had the most amazing birthday ever. I've now stopped dreading the day and aging, because I've managed to surround myself with some of the most amazing people on the planet.

Last night I had a potluck to celebrate the occasion and the food, my GOD the food, was amazing. Anick in her infinate wisdom broght us 24 cookies from Cookies by George, Andrea and Kirsten both impressed with their hummus making skills, and Amy and Jenn made a cherry CHEESECAKE. So good.

There was also alot of alcohol. Which I think was appropriate. All I have to say is the German wine is where it is AT!

Today, I woke up to a huge bouquet my parents had delivered. It's filled with tulips and irises and daisies and it is GIGANTIC. Then I headed off for Ethiopian food with Anick, followed by Fiddler on the Roof.

The production was pretty good. The lead guy, who played the Father, was absolutely amazing, and so was the women who played the Mother. Sadly the rest of the cast couldn't live up to their potential.
But despite that it was still an AWESOME time.

All in all I'm liking being 23.

I LOVE Fiddler on the Roof. Too bad most of the cast wasn't that good. When done well, it's a great musical.
