Why did I get out of bed today?

You know what's an awesome thing to happen on the first day of the year? You know that day when your a little hung over and a little bit tired and just looking to have a relaxing time before you get to go to bed again?

Your washing machine to leak, have your downstairs neighbour come yell at you because it's leaking into her apartment and then mopping up the water, taking all your clothes (including all but one pair of jeans) out of freezing, soapy water(it just had to be during a cold/cold cycle didn't it!), rinsing them all in the bathtub, and then realizing it's a holiday, so the soonist you'll see a repair man will be Monday, if not Tuesday. So you will be unable to do anything with your wet, half clean clothes until at least then.

What a great way to start 2005!

On the bright side, we had a delicious dinner at Earl's, and then had gloriously good baked apples (so good that they're making it on to Never Reason as the second Never Reason Recipe), and watched a movie. So you came out at least even, which isn't bad.
