Some Random thoughts.

1. I had a girls night with my Mom last night. It was awesome. We went to dinner and a movie. It's been years since I caught a flick with my mom. Well at least when it was just her and me. The last time was way back when we still lived in Calgary. She and I headed out to watch Emma, the one with Gwyneth Paltrow while my brother, sister and Dad went to go see Independence Day. It was really nice to hang out with my mom.

2. On the bus ride home there was a man doing needle point. That made me smile. He was really cute too, and I wished I had my knitting with me.

3. Does anyone want to go see Million Dollar Baby and/or Hotel Rwanda with me?

4. Re: Evi and the Oscars. They're on Feb. 27th. Which is a Sunday night. I did want to make a night of it, but then I didn't think anyone would be interested. But since you are, why not? So Oscar Party at my place! (and by party I mean a small group of friends, some marshmallows to throw at the screen for when stupid people win, and ballots for everyone to fill out prior to the show.) So if anyone wants to come just let me know, and I'll plan in earnest.

I demand that in addition to marshmallows for throwing at stupid people, there also be good food for consumption. Baked apples, anyone?

Very cool. That will be nicely refreshing as it is right after my psych and linguistics exams and right before my bio exam. There is a chance that I will have a total freak out, in which case one of two things will happen:
1)I will be feeling utterly behind in my studying for bio and stay at home to talk to myself about venous return etc...
2)I will be feeling utterly behind in my studying and come anyhow and throw my marshmallows extra hard at the screan, convincing myself to no avail that I am sane.
Yay! See you there!

I'm very sad I will miss the marshmallow throwing fun. I was just checking my calendar to see what days I will actually be there. I can never remember. I'm hoping to to go Hotel Rwanda too, but I don't know when it is going to happen. I have a stupid seminar for one of my classes tomorrow (Saturday!) that goes from 9-6, so I don't want to be out too late tonight. Booo to Saturday school!

The Oscars suck!! Booooooooo! ;P

Sexy men doing needle point, however, do not suck at all. Not a bit.
