rantings and ravings with little cohesion and plenty of pretension

Dearest, Loveliest, Elizabeth.

Swwwooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon!

I love me some Pride and Prejudice. I'm not really sure why this line gets to me so much, Perhaps it's because I have suffered through six hours of British repression, and finally, FINALLY, Mr. Darcy has declared his feelings and Lizzie is finally, FINALLY ready to hear about them.

So good.

I also love that part. The last tape is my favourite. Soo jealous, wish I could watch that. I'll talk to you soon, have a gorgeous day off!

Definitely a swoonworthy line. I haven't watched that movie in such a long time. It's not really a summer movie. Now would be the perfect time to watch it (I think I associate it with fall because the first time I read it was in the fall, for Ms. McNamara's class), but school doesn't seem to leave me with time to watch six-hour movies. I should break them down into increments or something. It's also a great movie to watch while doing some sort of handicraft, to pay a sort of homage to the time period. So good for you for knitting. I've got dozens of half-finished needlepoints that are just calling out for a down day and a good movie.
